Hello and welcome to our new website! The Apalachee Canoe & Kayak Club was organized in the 1970s by local canoeists who got together to enjoy such favorites as the Chipola River, the Sopchoppy River and the Wacissa River. Our membership is usually around 200 individuals and includes canoeists, river kayakers, sea kayakers, and whitewater aficionados.

Many of our members are also involved in other outdoor activities, including hiking, camping, birding and cycling. Our trips are informal.
