Paddlers start by paddling upstream to Black Spring, a river rise for Dry Creek, and following the water out into Spring Lake and then downstream into Dry Creek. There are challenges getting to deep water at the beginning and depending on the water level there may be some pullovers, most consider this beautiful creek well worth while.
