On my iPad I can't get the link to work. But I know just going to tube and searching "heel hook" I can find resources. You can also find it on paddle.net.

The most common mistakes are not reaching in far enough and not continuing the rotation in the cockpit. It is also a good rest position with the heel hooked and good grip on the opposite lifeline.

By the way, we used the Heel Hook reentry several times while swimming and snorkeling in Biscayne Bay NP the past few days. Its fast and requires less effort than the traditional assisted reentry (propelling yourself up onto the back deck while pulling on the lifelines of the assisting boat). Rebecca is a Pro at this technique and needed just short of 5 seconds each time!
