That's 262 miles of non stop paddling. At the end Max Feaster insisted on carrying his boat up the ladder himself, his words, "I ain't no wimp".

the "World's Toughest Boat Race", the Texas Water Safari, starts at 9:00 AM the second Saturday in June every year and runs until the following Wednesday at noon. (100 hours). It's hard, but many recreational paddlers do finish it. 262 miles in 100 hours is only 2.62 miles per hour. Finishing it works wonders for confidence and self esteem. I've finished three times and can say nothing equals the first finish. I highly recommend it for adventure loving paddlers.
I've paddled for many years, started when I was just a kid and I'm now 70, and there's nothing to equal the Texas Water Safari.
