Don't dis good paddling attire. Just because you live in a warmer climate, and are used to suffering while you paddle, I always wear knee-high neoprene paddling boats in cold weather, as do all the people I paddle with. Consider this post from the Northwest Florida paddling expert. Recall the pictures of ice in the swamps I have posted.
