A run from the Livery to the pick up point at the 388 bridge.

My Report:

I took this trip while camping at Florida caverns state park, I rented the yak from the Livery folks , not a bad price for a tandem for the day,-45 dollars, though I would say they could take a bit better care of their kayaks as far as looks go, otherwise they were all quiet seaworthy. It was the first time in a kayak for a friend of mine who was with me so I kept it easy and got a huge, slow ,but stable tandem sit on top, which for her was great. 7 miles and 4 springs a great trip and good even for a first timer. The creek is fairly shallow and not very fast for the most part, also crystal clear and very shady so even the 90 degree + heat did not really seem bad. We had so much fun in the area both with the Ecofina trip as well as seeing the possibilities of the Chipola river and Millers run that we are starting to plan a second trip to the area.
