My Report:

The trip started at the Wekiva Marina (10 participants, 3 canoes, 7 kayaks). This private marina has parking, nice restrooms, 2 bars, 6 cabanas, and a single boat ramp. There is a $6 launch fee. Canoe rentals are available.

From the marina, the group paddled downstream 4 miles to a primitive campsite on the left (west), called Buffalo Tram campsite. There is a sign however it is easy to miss . It has a fire ring, no other facilities. This is nice site which would accomodate up to 12 people.

Downstream from this site the river widens and is marshy, making it a haven for birds and alligators. An early morning explore of this area yielded an otter as well as gators and many birds. Wilson's Landing can be found a few miles downstream on the right or east side. This Seminole County park has bathrooms, picnic tables, a boardwalk, and a very small area to disembark from and launch one kayak or canoe at a time.

Our group finished the trip at Katie's landing'
