Kennedy Bridge in Blackwater River State Forest to Deaton Bridge in Blackwater River State Park.

My Report:

This stream is described in:

Florida by Pack and Paddle (1979)
A Canoeing and Kayaking Guide to the Streams of Florida - Volume I (1985)
The Rivers of Florida (1990)
Carefree Canoeing in Florida (1997)
Florida's Fabulous Canoe and Kayak Trail Guide (2004)
A Canoeing and Kayaking Guide to Florida (2005)
Canoeing and Kayaking Florida (2007)

It is also a State Canoe Trail (http://www.dep.state.fl.us/gwt/guide/designated_paddle/Blackwater_guide.pdf).

The gauge height at Bradley, AL (http://waterdata.usgs.gov/al/nwis/uv?site_no=02369800) was 0.95 feet this morning when I departed Kennedy Bridge.

The gauge height at the SR-4/Cotton Bridge ( http://waterdata.usgs.gov/fl/nwis/uv?site_no=02370000) was 1.65 feet when I passed it.

Two log jams are located between Kennedy Bridge and Peadon Bridge. The first has a portage trail on the west bank. The second was easily by climbing over. No other obstructions or groundings were encountered.
