My sister visited McGill, and brought back a hockey stick for me. Which I never used, as our backyard neighbors moved back to Canada, and the new family did not turn the yard into a rink, Winter of 68-69.

Great school - great place for a school. Look at the map of this part of Canada -- lots of great paddling opportunities. But also check on % sale taxes (GST and other provincial taxes) -- this can be a real bummer. Read in the Globe and Mail that monetary economists in Canada expect the loonie to fall to .90 to our $1; this should help moderate the higher cost of items, including gas, and higher sales taxes.

The sales personnel are really great at Piragis.

QP, the first I heard of Piragis was 2 hours before I made my comment. A friend posted on FB that he was in Ely to visit the in-laws and drop off his daughter for her summer job. Had to put Piragis in my web browser. Later, I saw your post. I love coincidences. Lydia, by the way, is going to be a Canadian. Starts at McGill in the fall.

May go back on our way back. As you know, it is a fabulous store -- the rains allowed us to explore Ely and we never got out of Piragis. The clerks are very knowledgeable and helpful.

Classmate of yours?

If you happen to stop at Piragis, again, and are helped by a young woman named, Lydia, tell her I say hi.
