Just a quick trip to Fort Pickens from Pensacola Beach (14 miles) to see how hurricane repairs have been coming along. Overall, looks like quite a bit of progress since my last visit.

Between Nov 2005 and May 2006 Iíve made 4 trips to Fort Pickens, all starting from the Pensacola Beach Parking lot. One by kayak, two by foot (hiking) and the last by bicycle. This trip report has lots of photos and tells a bit about each trip.
