Welcome to Free PDA Programs on ClubKayak.com! I'm glad that you decided to stop by and check out my little collection of FREE Palm OS programs. Here's the skinny:

Why Free PDA programs? Why not? I love paddling and programming, so these things came together one day during the summer of 2001. The programs were created while learning the Palm OS API and Metrowerks C development environment. Some programs are paddling related, some are not. I tried to add a little documentation to make them easier to use.

How can I use the programs? Basically any way you like except you cannot sell them without my written permission. Each program contains a "readme" text file that provides installation instructions, removal instructions and all the legal verbiage that you'd ever want to read.

What do I need to run the programs? Any Palm OS handheld with OS 3.1 or newer. This includes anything from Palm III (circa 2001) to recent. Some programs are black and white, others are color. Make sure you use the correct version for your handheld. (Note: B/W versions will work on Color PDAs).

Who is Ed Schessl? That's me, author of these programs. My background covers a number of different positions in the IT field over a 24 year (and counting) career. Anything from programming in RPG II (remember that?) to Director of Software Development and Vice-President of IT. Even have my own small business that offers programming and consulting services.
